A fantastic new website has been launched offering a whole range of information and opportunities to young people.
Created by young people for young people, zillowirral.co.uk features articles on a whole range of topics such as gaming, music, careers and health. It also includes an advice hub with guidance on issues including education, home life, relationships, anxiety and many more. Events and clubs for young people are advertised on the website and there will also be live, themed online events each month.
ZILLO aims to promote the very best of Wirral, its young people and culture and through its Young Reporters media and journalism project. It provides young people with valuable real life experiences of writing and creating content for the web. ZILLO Young Reporters is open to all Wirral Young People aged 11-18 and was created by Wirral Council’s Children’s Services in partnership with students and staff from Wirral Metropolitan College. The project began in April 2020 working closely with web development students ZILLO was transformed from a concept into multiple test websites submitted as part of students final exams. The concepts and ideas explored by the students gave life and inspiration to the website that has now been launched.
