Workshop to support Parents

The challenges facing teenagers today can be stressful, not just for the teenagers themselves, but also their parents and carers. Designed to help adults to support their children in an informal, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, we held another in a series of workshops aimed at providing practical tips to help their daughters through adolescence.

The latest session, organised by Assistant Headteacher Miss Eastwood, was delivered in partnership with the Response Counselling Service and looked at Understanding behaviours, Risk-taking behaviours, and Appropriate responses to behaviours. These sessions are brief but allow parents to share experiences and use one another for guidance through the teenage years.
