Good luck to Year 10 PSRE students Beth, Jayne, Megan, and Olivia who will be travelling to the heart of national debate – Westminster – on Monday.
They will be joining eighty other students from schools across the country to take part in a debate at the Houses of Parliament. The Youth Debate, on the importance of religious education, will be hosted by William Wragg MP, and chaired by Sixth Form students trained in handling opinionated students – and politicians!
The trip has been organised by teacher of PSRE and Humanities, Mrs Simpson, and during the day, our students are also hoping to meet our local MP Mr Frank Field.
We hope you all have a great day in the seat of government.
