Welcome back, Miss – Well done Hannah!

Today we welcomed back into school former student Amy Cave who left Prenton in 2006. Amy went on to achieve a degree in Law at the University of Chester. Deciding on a change of direction, Amy then undertook her teaching training degree at Edge Hill University.

Now a teacher, Amy was in school with her class from Mendell Primary School, Bromborough, as part of our Elevate programme that gives primary school pupils a taste of secondary school life.

Well done Amy, it was lovely to see you again!

We were also delighted to hear from another former student, Hannah Hardman, who left Prenton in 2013 and has recently graduated from Bangor University with a First-class degree in Psychology. Hannah has written to us to thank all the staff at the school for their support, putting down her achievement also to the kindness and encouragement Mrs Green and Miss Roberts gave her whilst at Prenton High School.

Hannah tells us her next step is to complete a masters in Abnormal and Clinical Psychology at Swansea University – her ambition is become a Clinical Psychologist.

Congratulations, Hannah – and good luck with your future studies!
