Time for Me – Time for Breakfast!

Lauren, Teagan and Penelope, are pictured here sharing breakfast with Amanda Dunbar, Student Services and Michelle Higgins, School Counsellor. They were part of a group of Year 7 students meeting up for breakfast before school started to catch up after participating in a ‘Time for Me’ group.

‘Time for Me’ met weekly over four weeks and used creative activities and discussions that engage young people in exploring their self-identity, feelings and emotions, relationships, and their life story. Through this process they grow a self-awareness, build new friendships, develop trust in others, develop empathy, and potentially recognise new strengths and resources in themselves that they didn’t know they had.
