Temple Dahl is a Cultural Treat

Introducing interesting flavours from other cultures as a part of their Year 7 RE lessons gave Deputy Headteacher Mrs G Fraser an excellent opportunity to demonstrate her culinary skills – and giving students the fragrant taste of India into the bargain!

Mrs Fraser’s homemade Temple Dahl, a healthy treat that many Indians consider to be the purest form of food that many have constantly available in their homes, contained red split lentils, lemon, turmeric chilli powder, tomatoes, and fresh coriander – and clearly went down a treat with her class!
