Gaining some Local Learning

Year 8 students headed to Storeton Woods on a field trip as part of their Enrichment Week studies. They made notes and collected examples about the interesting ecology of this interesting area that lies on our doorstep and, back in school, created informative displays for others to read.

Cracking an Egg Problem

Our Year 7 students took an egg protection problem very seriously during Enrichment Week! Set by the Maths department, the challenge was to create a system that protected a falling egg from smashing. Their creative solutions even included making a parachute!

Laura is Wirral Apprentice of the Year!

Many congratulations to former student Laura Lovelady, who beat strong competition to win the prestigious Wirral Apprentice of the Year 2018 award. Laura, who left Prenton High School in 2015, works at the Leverhulme Hotel in Port Sunlight, Merseyside’s highest rated 4-star hotel.
