Year 10 student Ciara is certainly taking her forthcoming Future Chef Regional Final seriously. She can be seen here working on her presentational skills with Mentor Chef James Holden. On her menu is tasty pan-fried duck breast in a red wine and cherry sauce, accompanied by a glazed rainbow of carrots and dauphinoise potatoes. Ciara also has been working on giving her Gateaux St Honeré a new twist for the finals.
She is certainly carving a name for herself in the world of chefs – Ciara’s talents have been recognised by a local restaurant as she has been offered a position with them, working alongside their Head Chef.
