Happy Eid!

Eid al-Fitr, the important religious holiday that follows the holy fasting month of Ramadan, was celebrated last Friday.

‘The feast of breaking the fast’ is celebrated by Muslims all over the world and, because our Muslim students were enjoying Eid on Friday, we were not able to mark the occasion with them until their return on Monday.

Thanks to Year 8 students Khadiza, Mahdiya, Sumaiya and Liaba pictured here, a small Eid celebration was arranged – sharing stories about how they celebrated on Friday with their friends and families and sharing sweets, treats and EID Mubarak music with other students at lunch time in our Main Hall.

Thanks to each of you for enriching our lives!
