Fantastic Turnout for Open Evening

It was wonderful to meet so many families at our recent open events so thank you to everyone who came along.

The events were important opportunities for year 6 pupils, parents or carers to meet Prenton staff and students to find out more about how we are collectively making a difference. Our student ambassadors did an excellent job of showing people around and sharing some of the fantastic opportunities that we offer.

There was an abundance of activities taking place ranging from 3D design, creating healthy snacks and butterfly sculptures through to rocket car demos, French and Spanish lessons and animal anatomy. Our ‘fruity’ ratios smoothie stand in the Maths department was particularly popular along with talks from Headteacher Mrs Ayling, our Head Girl, Lucy and one of our year 7 students, Alex, who made a real impression on our visitors.

As well as highlighting the impressive academic results that our students achieve, our open evening also gave people information about our Duke of Edinburgh Award schemes, the support available to help year 7 students to settle in and many of the extra-curricular activities on offer.

Our Open Evening also featured the premiere of our new school video, which gives a helpful overview of our school community to anyone currently considering secondary schools. Click here to watch the video.

If you are currently considering secondary schools but were unable to attend our open events, please contact our school office who will be happy to make an appointment for you to come and have a look round. Telephone 0151 644 8113.
